Product Description

Laminated glass is a composite safety glass made by bonding two or more pieces of glass with one or more layers of organic polymer interlayer through high temperature and high pressure. Its core advantage is that it does not shatter upon breaking, and its safety far exceeds that of ordinary glass.

Advantages of laminated glass:

1.High safety: When laminated glass is subjected to external force impact, even if it breaks, it can still remain completely within the original frame. The fragments will not fly around, significantly reducing the harm to the human body.

2. Excellent sound insulation: Due to the PVB film in laminated glass having the function of damping sound waves, the laminated glass can effectively block the transmission of sound and provide excellent sound insulation performance.

Manufacturing Process

1.Pre-treatment of the original sheet: Establishing the foundation of cleanliness and size. 

2. Assembly and bonding:According to product requirements, the pre-treated original glass sheet and the intermediate film are layered in the prescribed sequence.

3. Pre-pressurization and gas removal: Preliminarily removing air to avoid bubble formation. After the assembly, the semi-finished product will still have air remaining. If it directly enters the high-pressure stage, the air will form bubbles between the glass and the film, affecting the appearance and strength.

 4. High-pressure curing: Achieving permanent and tight bonding. The pre-pressed semi-finished product only completes the initial bonding. The bonding strength between the intermediate film and the glass is still insufficient. Through "high-temperature and high-pressure", the intermediate film needs to be fully cured to form an irreversible and tight bond.
